I have just updated the Wizz RSS 4.0 code so that it’ll install on Firefox 4.0b3. Apart from bumping maxVersion to 4.0b3, nothing else has changed.
The vertical scroll bar bug in the item pane (XUL listbox widget) persists. I guess a bug fix wasn’t landed in time for the release of 4.0b3. Oh well… I assume it will get fixed at some time.
If you have already installed Wizz RSS 4.0 for Firefox 4.0b2, and want to use it with Firefox 4.0b3, just reinstall it.

The previous WizzRSS beta is working on FF 4.0b3.
If you force the installation, ignoring maxVersion, it will work. But for those who don’t know how to force the installation, the patched version of Wizz RSS 4.0 will now install on either 4.0b2 or 4.0b3.
I’ve noticed a small bug, but I’m not really sure how to recreate it. The way it shows itself, is that after a while, I don’t get the notifications about a feed update. The font should turn bold red, from narrow black, when a feed is updated and new items are found, but this switch sometimes only occurs when I hover the mouse over the feed.
So if I regularly do a quick motion over the sidebar view with the mouse, the feeds will tell me if they’ve updated or not.
Sorry not to be able to pinpoint it more exactly. The blurry bug I had before seems to have gone away with beta4, so well … Maybe this does too?
@leper: I’ve noticed similar behaviour, but under different circumstances. If the feed hasn’t been read (bold dark red), reading the feed doesn’t change the text (normal black) until the mouse moves off the feed.
I assume it’s a bug with Firefox. I installed 4.0b4 today, and the behaviour persists.
