Three years old

In the context of “normal life” three years isn’t a very long time, but in the context of “things Internet” three years is like a lifetime.

On 19 November 2007 Wizz RSS was three years old!

Over the three years it has grown and evolved into a pretty useful tool. Something which I hope has become a meaningful contribution to the “Firefox cause.”

I should also mention that I consider Wizz RSS to be the result of collaboration. Yes, I write the code, but most of the ideas for enhancements and improvements have come from those who have used it. Constructive feedback in the form of bug reporting, as well as testing of bug fixes, has also made a tremendous contribution to making the code more-or-less stable.

My involvement with the Wizz RSS project has taught me much about myself, and even more about aspects of Firefox and Mozilla that I may never have touched, if it hadn’t been for Wizz RSS.

Thanks to all of you who have made a contribution to the project, and let’s hope we see another three years :)
