In my usual way of being a few months behind the rest of Internetkind (That part of humankind that inhabits the Internet), yesterday I became aware of the Extend Firefox 2 Contest.
It’s kinda strange that, with the imminent release of Firefox 3, that Mozilla would be running an extend Firefox 2 contest? I guess it’s another case of: Mozilla moves in mysterious ways Its wonders to perform
Anyway, I also noticed that the contest rules (See paragraph 4) prevent me from entering Wizz RSS into the contest: -
The Contest is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the USA, Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec), EU member states or Japan, and who are at least 18 years of age (or 20 years of age in the case of Japan). Residents of the United States between the ages of 13 and 17 years old are eligible to participate in the Contest but will be required to submit a signed parental consent form in order to collect any prizes won. Employees and contractors of Mozilla Corporation and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, advertising agencies, and families, and persons living in the same household as such employees, are not eligible to participate. This Contest is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. The Contest is subject to all applicable, as the case may be, national, federal, state and local laws.
Methinks it be unfair discrimination
